Life right now: time crunch, intense emotions, complete lack of sleep, coffee, coffee, coffee, stressss...
Thus, I can't make a nice blog post about life the past week, even though there's much to say...but, because I don't know how clear I've been about all my plans, a bit of useful information about my life in the coming months:
December 8-12: I'll be in Barcelona, travelling with Becca, likely without internet access
December 13-17: Back in Amsterdam, staying with Ruth, with internet access!
December 18 - 20: With my mom in Nijverdal, with internet!
December 21-22: In Utrecht and Delft, with cousins, no internet
December 23-24: Nijverdal again, internet
December 25-27: At my aunt's house for Christmas with the Dutch side of my family :)
December 28: One more day in Amsterdam!
December 29-Jan 4: In London, staying with Ruth, possible internet
Jan 4-Jan 20: Backpacking around Europe, pretty limited internet (what I'm willing to pay for at hostels)
January 21: Home sweet home in America! Internet! Reachable by my old cell phone! Commencement of long-winded conversations with all my friends on Verizon :)
Feb 1ish: Drive back to Oberlin for spring semester
It's been incredibly hard to stay in touch with everyone that I want to, to the extent that I'd like - between not having internet at all at my house the last few weeks, and finishing my thesis-like paper here and preparing for/doing my presentation, and packing up everything because I move out of my homestay in Amsterdam tomorrow morning... I am sorry to everyone who I've been out of touch with. I promise to make it all up when I'm home again, and oceans/long distance phone rates/lack of internet won't keep us apart!
I love you all.

I want to Barcelona earlier. Was it beautiful when you went, too? I loved the beach over Thanksgiving weekend. Not so common, ya know?
Anyway, while you were in Barcelona I was in Amsterdam. Woah. I admire you for living there! It is so fast-paced. I am not going to lie, parts of it were scary. Like the time my two friends and I had metal scraps thrown at us by a prostitute...long story. But yeah, your home city is sooo intense. But I love love loved it!
